WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED EXACTLY?
Catch a Falling Star Rides and The Cornucopia Lodge are nestled in a pristine Wallowa Mountain valley next to Pine Creek, just 12 miles north of the sleepy town of Halfway, Oregon.

WHAT ARE YOUR CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES?
Check in time is at 2:00pm and check out time is 12:00pm. We will make every effort to accommodate early arrivals and late departures.

WHAT ELEVATIONS WILL WE BE RIDING IN?
Most of our rides will be in elevations between 4,500 and 6,500.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE SPECIFIC FOODS AND DIETARY NEEDS?
With advanced notice, we are able to accommodate dietary concerns and allergies.

WHAT ACCOMMODATIONS DO YOU PROVIDE FOR MY HORSE?
We provide a 12' x 12' stall while you are staying at the lodge. Your horse will need to hobble for evening grazing and tie on a high line while we sleep.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING ?

ARE THERE TV's OR PHONES IN THE ROOMS?
There are no televisions or phones in the rooms or cabins. You will have availability to a phone in the main lodge if needed.

IS THERE INTERNET AVAILABLE?
There is WIFI available in the fireplace room in the main lodge.

WILL MY CELL PHONE WORK?
Most cell phones do not work at the lodge. There are places along the trail where you may be able to get reception.

ARE THERE CONVENIENCE STORES CLOSE BY?
The closest convenience store is located 12 miles from the lodge in the little town of Halfway.

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM AGE FOR THE RIDES?
The scheduled rides are for women only, age 25 and above. We do, however offer special group rides for mothers and daughters, couples, etc. Give us a call if you'd like to bring your own group and customize a ride.

CAN MY HUSBAND COME ALONG?
Our scheduled rides are "all women" rides at this time. Our focus is to give women a chance to shed off the stress of daily responsibilities of caring for others and allow them to immerse themselves in a wilderness learning adventure with their horse. Sharing great meals, lots of laughter, fresh mountain air and enjoying peaceful, quiet time refreshes and renews the soul.

We offer special group rides for couples, mothers and daughters, etc. Please give us a call if you'd like to bring your own group and customize a ride.

DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
We do not allow pets at the lodge or on the rides.
